While we’re a recent entrant to the clearing space, RQD was spun out of an established market maker with roots in the options markets. That heritage means we have a deep understanding of risk and technology. It also means we are acutely aware of the challenges that broker-dealers face, which is ultimately what led us to solve them with the launch of RQD – an entity solely dedicated to providing next-generation clearing, custody and execution services built for the modern U.S. markets.

Chief Revenue Officer

Chief Compliance Officer
Lisa Bridgeford oversees and manages the Compliance Department at RQD. Lisa has been in the securities industry for 40+ years working in a variety of positions. Her previous experience includes senior roles in operations and compliance management at a variety of firms mainly concentrating on the compliance side of the clearing industry.
Chief Risk Officer
Will Shin oversees and manages risk exposure for RQD. He has over 30 years of experience in the securities industry across the US, Europe, and Asia. His previous experience includes senior roles in risk management, options market making, quantitative engineering, trading systems development, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
Chief Financial Officer
Anthony DeRosa manages and oversees all financial reporting for RQD* Clearing LLC. He previously served as Accounting Manager for RQD where he served this role for 2 years. Before that, he held a Manager position at RSM US LLP where he primarily focused on auditing clearing broker dealers in accordance with PCAOB standards and was part of the firm’s leadership in the Capital Markets practice.

Craig Reilly has over 20 years of industry experience in listed options, equities and clearing. He previously held senior roles at LiquidPoint and Knight Capital Group. Craig began his career in 1999 at Israel A. Englander & Co. as a member of the American Stock Exchange.
Chief Revenue Officer
Michael Lanyon oversees sales and revenue growth at RQD. With Over 20 years of experience in the custody and clearing space, Michael has held senior roles at Penson Financial Services, where he oversaw the Relationship Management Team, and Apex Clearing, where he managed the Domestic and Global Sales Teams. He has extensive experience with scaling growth in the clearing industry.
Brian Donnelly is the Founder and Managing Member of Volant Holding, from which RQD spun out. At RQD, he provides strategic input and oversight. Before launching his own firm, he held various senior roles, founding UBS’ global electronic volatility trading business and co-heading Goldman Sachs’ European options market making division. He began his career as a market maker on the Cboe floor with Hull Trading.
Patrick Carroll has over 40 years of experience in the capital markets. He was one of the founders and owners of Compass Professional Services, an execution and CMTA clearing provider that was acquired by RQD in 2017. Before that, he spent many years at Cboe, where he held roles ranging from clearing to execution and ultimately rose to VP of Operations.
